    I noticed that orange traffic signs have gone up in my neck of the woods along Jamboree and Portola advising of rolling closures. The signs listed USA Cycling as the contact. I checked out their website and turns out the national championships will be right here in OC August 6-10th.

    Yep, lately lots of guys from around SoCal have been coming out to Como St. (local training ride/race that takes in much of the course) to get a feel for the terrain. Elites do 3 laps with close to 10,000ft of climbing. Should be good spectating on Modjeska grade.
