2008 12 Hours of Temecula #3 Roll Call

Dan and I are doing our first multi-hour race since 2005! We'll be on a team with OffRoadie and Jonathan_Sykes.

I think i'll hop in but oddly enough I have to look at my schedule this weekend.
I should have my light done tonight or tomorrow too, but who knows.

 

I did a few laps at Vail Lake today. Surprisingly, I don't think the trails got any rain, at least not while I was there (10a-3p). Trails were dry, loose and rutted as always

New course is fun though. The Damn Climb sucks as always and makes you wonder why you subject yourself to all this - but then the Tunnel of Love and all the other flowing singletrack act as reminders of why we go through all this. :lol:

While there, I got to scope out our campsites - we're in a good spot, basically right across the way from where we stayed in June. We got the two end sites.

 

If you start early like first person then you won't need your lights as you will finish with our 5 man rotation.:lol:

And yeah you know you want to do it!!!!!!

 

i think i may camp that night. any one know if there are spots left and what is the link to get them?

I dunno what race y'all are talking about - I'm riding in the 6 or 7 hours of Temecula. My race has a carbo-loading (beer) stop after lap 5 or so.

 

If you are just by yourself and we should have enough room for one or two more. The sites are for big RVs so tons of space and even 50amp outlet for your cell phone.:lol:
