I was hoping we would get some rain prior to the race. The switch backs at the top are getting in bad shape. Really a lot of powder.

I can't wait.

 

rain would be nice...but i suppose the nastier the course is, would play in to the locals favor!! :wave:

Thanks everyone for the support! You guys are awesome! I am compiling a great email list to help include everyone for info. On a side note I have also started the a new club it will be called the " Inland Valley Bike Club " IVBC. The purpose for this club will be completely non profit. It will be a great place for us to organize and be more effective. There are already other projects that need some help in our area. Just to let you know: (A few places i already lend a hand - But we need more hands)

I challenged StevieB to 2 more laps(7 total) then his last race....his new bike shed 5#'s over the one he used last time out and he won't be in 150* temps....AND his training/endurance has gotten better...:beer:

Trizz should hit 8 laps for the same reasons....:beer:

The damn climb looked in great condition I hope they don't tear it up shuttling Dhers to the top this weekend

 

^^^ I thought I read in one post or another a while back (and perhaps even by Jason Ranoa) that they would not be shuttling DHers up the dam climb. Did that change?

 

oh hmm I'll have to look into that as I thought there was no pre-riding the course this weekend due to the damn climb being closed due to shuttles.

Here is what EC1 posted yesterday:

I don't see anything about the damm climb being used for the shuttles

 

They will be using Ambulance road to shuttle up, not the pain in the ass Dam Climb:lol:

 

we wont be on the Damn climb for shuttles or racing so its open for you guys to climb as many times as you want,

there is also some single track that drops of the back side and down to the damn and s single track that drops front side towards the resort, just after that very soft climb (name?) that will be open to ride...

also the hills east of the pools is open to explore, which is the proposed future part of the resort that will be XC exclusive...

 

Well....

Due to a recent work related injury I am out. I just hope I can make it on crutches to get my beer!
