The 4" travel model was called the IRIS. They were known to have issues with the swingarms cracking. I looked at getting one back in 2000, but decided on a SC Bullit instead.

Aeon(Ellsworth) stopped making these frames many years ago. :?:

They may have combined the 2 bikes at some point.

The Joker was a 6" FR bike similar to the SC Bullit.

THe Isis was a 4" XC bike similar to the SC Superlight.

I had one for years, but just replaced it with a Truth for more XC riding. The frame is going to be for sale in a week or so once I finish stripping the components. Sweet ride, just a little too heavy for me.

I had an 04 Joker with 7" of travel and a 1.5" headtube--it was a great bike!! It handled every bit of abuse I could give it. My buddy is riding it now.:bang:

I used to have the 6" version of the Joker. It is possible to change the travel from 6"-4" by changing the shock to a shorter eye to eyed shock and moving the shock down to the lower mounting point.

I never really liked that bike. I didn't like the way it handled. Plus, I used it mostly for XC/trail riding and I still cracked the rear swing arm at Strawberry Peak. When I contacted Ellsworth they didn't have any swing arms anymore for the Joker and offered to sell me a new ID at a discounted rate of $1900 or something like that. I just remember thinking that it was way too much money for a warranty replacement. They finally welded up my old swing arm and when I got it back I sold the frame right away and never looked back.
