I'm looking for something more aggressive than the Specialized Rollers on my daughter's Hotrock. They don't corner that great and let loose braking for her. Thanks.

kenda.jpg I put the Maxxis Holy Roller (below) on my son's 20 inch MTB. Not too bad. I also considered the Kenda Small Block (above), which is supposed to do pretty well on cornering.

Even though your'e looking for 20"MTB oriented tires, I would take advantage of the crossover selection available in a BMX oriented LBS like bike alley in Orange or EPICride in FV?HB.

I wouldnt consider either of those aggresive. Both are great on hard pack but not so great on loose stuff. ( i have had both on a 26" DJ bike) What dont you like about the Specialized Roller, looks like a decent all around tire. Most 20" tires seem to be geared more towards either street or bmx.

I have the Maxxis MaxxDaddy 20x2.25 on my son's Kona Shred 2-0 and they are very solid and a nice big all terrain tire.. he rides fairly aggressively for his age and size and they were the most aggressive looking I could find in a 20 inch.. he used to use the Rollers on his 16 inch Haro bike but the MaxxDaddy is definitely more beefy if that's what you're looking for..

It's too tame for dirt--very rounded profile with few small side knobs, center knobs are too bridged and low profile. All that adds up to washing out on the trails.

Hey, thanks for the suggestions! I ran across some Spec 'Spanky' 20 x 2.125 at The Path Bike Shop. Nice round profile, big knobs and a good price.

Those should work well.. I've also used those before when my son rode his 16 inch bike

+1 on the Maxx Daddy's. Put them on the kids bike when he was losing braking traction downhill. Put on the maxx daddy's and there was a huge increase in performance. They still roll great.
