    must be, because there's a guy with 3hrs+.

    If you came through the halfway point, they asked you if you were done so that person probably called it quits.

    edit: yup, Mark and Zach's times are under the 118 @ 5hrs while the three of us finished it at the 10hr mark

    I think the goal next year should be to get out of double digits.

    I bet they had no way to know who did 118 and who crossed after only 62 miles so any blue number was a 118 time regardless of how far they really went. They did however ask when giving us the medals if we were going back out. I wonder what time it shows for some of those who stopped to eat then went back out.:?:

    Damm right we smoked them:lol::lol::lol:

    So proud of you Jay, Zach, Mark, Aaron and David on this achievement. Now you've crossed over, becoming roadies and are riding epic events. The pictures and ride reports are inspiring and encourage us all! How fun!

    Congrats again!

    My best to you and Trish, Aaron! Better get her a road bike for an engagement present...

    Glad you guys made it out to Vegas. We were happy to ride to the finish with your group, and hope you come out again for another ride. Maybe someday I'll pick up a mountain bike and head to SoCal.

    I totally missed the aid station with the doughnuts. Not missing that next year!

    I told them I was signed up for the 118 but was calling it quites at 62, though I don't think they really cared. Or maybe they didn't understand me as I was drooling over the Outback lunch. :lol:

    I did think it was weird that the medal was the same for the 35, 62, and 118 mile rides.

    Hey guys, you should check out the Tour de Tucson. It's a fantastic ride. Same sort of thing, route is all shut down to cars. Really scenic. The crowd is a little bigger, but that just means there are more people to draft...

    is the homepage. Weekend before thanksgiving.

    I think it's 110 - 115 miles, no real bad hills (unless you do the mt lemon trial the day before). When I went, the weather was AMAZING, people were friendly, twice as many rest stops as I needed, and all well organized.

    incorrect. the 163 that leads you from Laughlin to the 95 is a 32 mile uphill with a big dip in the middle. It's a climb from either direction. Other than that, it's a walk in the park!:lol:

    Other possible route would be to take the 68 from bullhead city going toward Kingman. Just on the eastern end of Golden Valley take the 93AZ north across the hoover dam and then into vegas.

    OMG!!! That could be an epic loop on a bike! I don't think you can handle it. Then again, that sort of gives me an idea using an cyclocross bike though...... mixing fire roads and pavement........:-k
