Aluminum or brass nipples? I ask because, on my wife's Roval carbon wheels, all the alum nipples are corroding and breaking after about 6 years of tubeless setup. Specialized shops will have to send them to Specialized for this replacement work, and it will be expensive, with spokes replaced...

Thinner = better riding performace, but larger bearings outside (read: thicker) last longer. Many super-light pedals use a bushing VS a bearing or micro-bearing. Minimal longevity there. So you should consider how soon you'll be likely to replace them. Some expensive pedals, like many HT...
