I think even the crickets have given up.....there is so much spam in the system that it takes more time than dial up 14.4k speeds to move from page to page. Not to mention that most of the time the links don't work. Time to let it die.

One post a week is common around here now. Otherwise it is just trailninja talking to himself. Most have moved on....this site just is not relevant anymore. It was abused and neglected for way too long. No matter what you do, it left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Kinda like Ellsworth.

I'm using a retired area rug.....9x5'. Don't care if it gets dirty, greasy, wet. Soft enough that small parts that drop, don't bounce all over the place. Plus I can vacuum it when it gets really dirty.

Since a 6 hr race is really a sprint race in terms of endurance racing...... Break it up into 2x 3 hr races. 6 hrs is too short to sprint for 1 hr, sit for 1 hr, sprint for 1hr....etc. Vail lake laps are only about 8-9 miles....so 3 laps is only gonna run you 24-27 miles, and likely less than...

Yes, they are horrible....too tall, too close together, too many, built in bad spots. They were fine before....it will be no time before someone gets hurt on them. While a lot of the work done at the Oaks is to help with deterioration/damage caused by rain....someone else has decided that...

I wouldn't get XTR either.....but at this point a 9 spd XT and a 990 cassette cost about the same....never had an issue with either one. Both seem to last.
