    Last person riding 26" bikes?

Designed by Colnago for Ferrari and you know they are on top of the mtn frame building business (not) but it does have a Specialized 4 bar link. It climbs identical as a Specialized 26" Stumpjumper, meaning not bad. This bike weighs in at 28-29lbs which is why its so slow.

    Deep Thoughts.....

Mike, also consider a 29er hard tail with the maximum of 100mm fork. Demo one at a Kona, Specialized, Trek demo session. They climb like crazy with little effort (using lightweight tires of course) Only BAD thing is after you ride it, you'll never want to ride a 26er again (like me) but end up...

    Deep Thoughts.....

Nice Yeti with Kashima goodness...now sell it. At 57 maybe a 29er? They are easy on the back, legs, arms. I have 2 of them and both kick ass on my 2 26ers (speed and climbing) but descending you have to slow down because it goes so fast. I also have a cheap Kona 27.5 Lanai hard tail. The Kona...

    Deep Thoughts.....

I agree, but since I do a lot of "deep thoughts", those ppl in the other parts of the world that are bike junkies (yet poor) if given a choice between an older 26" and new 650b, they'd probably take the 27.5. Hate to be such a downer but I've done charity work on 2 continents and people are...

    Full suspension vs hard tail

I have to agree, with the 27.5 wheels you will enjoy all types of riding with the Stance 2. I'm not sure though if that rear shock has lockout. If it does, it will be a plus for climbing hills. The hard tail will be fine but you'll soon be sick of that. However if you were thinking about a...

    Deep Thoughts.....

The 26er is dead (I know I own 2 of them) and has been seen floating upside down like a fish in a aquarium., while bigger wheels populate the trails. I was riding in the San Gabes last week and only saw 2 26er's. Only the poor and aged were on them (hahahah) But throughout the years of riding...

    Last person riding 26" bikes?

Unlikely scenario. I drive a 10 yr old truck just because I can't afford a new one. Its opposite for me I'm sick of that thing lol. In 10 yes they may have even another size, 28.3? Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk

    7.875 x 2.0 versus 7.875 x2.25

Yes but if something like a stress crack happens your warranty is void, its like in those reality hot rod shows when they take like a new mustang and customize it, some guy always says "OK let's void the warranty!" Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk

    Last person riding 26" bikes?

26ers are dead. They are just like square boxed tv's. The were great for the last 40 years but somebody came along and changed all that. Nobody wants to watch the Superbowl on a 27" Sony , its a 42-60" flat screen. Just like a 26er bike. Dead. RIP. It was fun.But you are dead, my 8-9 speed...

    Last person riding 26" bikes?

I put both my 26er's on PinkBike...YOU ARE RIGHT! One guy offered me 2 XBOX consoles and 6 games for my mint 2010 Stinky Deluxe...really? And Jax offered me $400 trade-in value, which couldn't buy Jax, LOL. So best keep those 26er's, trick 'em out if you want them to perform better and ride the...

    Single Speed Tire

Kenda Karma 1.9 or 2.2 there are a variety of these that come in a cheaper wire bead, DTC or L3R, ranging from 1.9 to 2.2. The Maxxis Minion SS, though I never tried it, looks promising. Unfortunately they do not cover your $40 budget, they are like $60 each. The middle of the tire looks like...

Worst Fully Loop Ride, But Got World's Record

Its overkill for big bear too but it being 26" and worthless I have to ride the crap out of it, kinda like buying a nice laptop--- you have to use it a lot because it's already obsolete the moment you walk out of the store Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
