Reed - dude, I hope you read this in time. Jennier and I are hosting a TDW party on Saturday and it would be great to see you and yours. Party starts at 3:00pm at our place (944 Sagebush Lane, Norco). Check out the TDW site or call if you need info.

      Cheers,

I moved to Apple Valley, so that's too far away for an afterwork ride. Good luck finding a guide. The trails are pretty fun, but I have no idea what kind of condition they are in right now.

I'm asking around to see if you can show me the Diablo trail or other trails above Corona. I'm available at 3pm.

      Luke,
I think you're talking about the end of the second big slab that ends in a 2.5-3 foot drop. I have rolled it on both 26" and 29" wheels, but it's easier to manual or jump off. You can work up to it by riding across the first big slab and making a left at the end of it, dropping you out towards a boulder with a steep slab on the end of it. That is a more straight forward roller that will be good practice for the one at the end of the second slab.
      Good luck and have fun.

Hey Reed, I had a question about Road Runner in Sycamore. Usually I bypass all the rocks and boulders, but lately I've been trying to navigate them (I've been doing a lot of sessioning in order to improve my technical skills.) Is that last big boulder rideable? If so, what's the best way to tackle it? Can I just roll down the opposite side or do I need to jump it?

Apple Valley has some great riding. I'll post up a message on the Dirty Works site when the weather cools off a bit.

That's great, Reed. Maybe I should plan a day trip to Apple Valley and ride there sometime.

Been good. Moved to Apple Valley about a month ago and am teaching up in Victorville. So far so good. The riding is good up here, so that's a bonus. Now I need to get back in shape because I haven't done much riding in the last couple of months.

      Cheers,
