Glad to hear you are back riding again and Happy Holidays to you! I rode Santiago Oaks on Tuesday with my brother - the first time back to those trails since I broke my collarbone in April. I didn't go down Chutes but did a lot of other trails instead. So is your doctor recommending surgery on your rotator cuff? It looks like your toughing it out so hopefully it won't be necessary. We should hook up and do a ride sometime - like a group ride or something. I plan on doing the next "FREEK Loop" ride on 1/14 - I'll post something on STR about it with the sign-up link. On Friday I might go to the Quail Hill/Bommer Canyon loop near my place. It's such nice weather and I have this week off so gotta get out and enjoy!See ya on the trails!

I don't have "Dexter" thread.... I do know that most of the pub has been flagged like so, with malware warnings. Its not specifically STR's fault. More so its the Hosts problem they refuse to fix.

Hey there, what happened to your shoulder? I imagine it was a MTB crash, but what did you mess it up (i.e. bruises, torn something or other, etc)? Hope you get well soon. The IRC ride isn't bad - all fire road and nothing too technical. Climbs and descents are nice and spread out. Since I broke my collarbone going down the Chutes trail at Santiago Oaks this April, I have also been weary of doing anything too difficult. I did this ride as one of my first rides after the doctor cleared me to ride again. I'm still going downhill relatively slowly so maybe we can hang at the back of the pack and let the speedsters barrel on ahead! :-)

      Hi Robin:

I'm glad you are recovering well. It was still one of the worst crashes I have seen! I'm not actaully leaving the area, but moving on to new opportunities in my career. As a career banker, you always have competitors out to steal you from where you are, and that is what happened.

Thanks for the blessings, and I'll probably see you out on the trail sometime. Take care.

That "masked man" was probably me. I saw the whole thing and was the first one "hovering" over you. I'm glad you are okay. It looked UGLY!
