Hi, I'm not sure if this counts as SoCal, but can anyone recommend an instructor or coach in the Mammoth Lakes area who would be willing to do a few private sessions in mid-to-late June? Or even an intermediate-level clinic?

I'm from Pennsylvania, but will be in ML on vacay in June and since I have the time, I'd really like to do some intense skill work with an instructor before I cement a series of slovenly habits that hold back my progress.

    Thanks for any feedback.

I believe the mountain offers private and group lessons. Also there are clinics now and then but may not match up with your schedule.

Thanks, all. Does the mountain have a reputation for quality instruction? I know that with skiing, just showing up and booking a lesson can be a pretty hit or miss experience. I'm certainly don't mean to assume ill of Mammoth's MTB instruction program, was just wondering about people's experiences. Will try to find some reviews. Thanks again!

Mammoth IMO has really good customer service + mtb friendly. I would think the mtb instruction is on par with the others.
