This is an out and back ride that is 100% singletrack and 200% fun. We will begin the ride with the newer section of the trail off of Zuma Ridge Motorway. It is approximately 10 miles along the Backbone singletrack to the parking area at the top of Coral Canyon. This trail has a lot of ups and downs . We’ll stop at the parking area for a while and take in the view. The ride back to the cars will proceed along the same trail. Meet at 8:30 am

Directions: Take the 101 Freeway to the Kanan exit in Agoura Hills. At the end of the off-ramp proceed south toward the ocean. Take Kanan for several miles until you reach Mulholland Hwy. At Mulholland make a right (west) and proceed to Encinal Canyon Road. Stay on Encinal. Just after you pass the water treatment plant on the left you’ll see the fireroad (also on your left) where the trail begins. Pass the fireroad and round the corner. Park in the dirt area just off the road.

Let me know by calling 9514736448. I'm trying to get confirmatio of all who is going I would hate to drive 140 miles and no one show up. At least when no one shows up for farm rides I'm right at home.

Vic good morning, the ride is approx 22 miles. I have rode the 17.5 of it and it is remote. The decsent at top is baby head rocky for about 2 miles but there are many more miles of descent. There is an extremely fast portion coming out of cherry canyon with a sick step up. 3 miles into ortega there are some soft spots and some temporary overgrowth. The initial descent from Reyes peak is pine forest. The elevation loss in the first 5 miles is 3000 feet well be making up about 1200 feet on the cherry creek ascent to Ortega. The final descent on Ortega has about 12 switchbacks and is nicer than San Juan.

Hey Vic! This is Steve. Gabe's Friend. We rode Sam Merrill trail to Sunset Ridge trail on the pancake breakfast day and I saw you again on your way to the Sam Merrill Trail this past Sunday. Well I finally joined STR a couple of days ago. Going to plan a ride in 2 or 3 weeks with Gabe and others. Be cool if you joined. I sent you a friend request. Steve

Looking to session ted Williams trail on thursday than night ride wildomar trails are intersted in either. Ted Williams trail is super buffed.
