Unfortunately, we can't make it tomorrow. Alison needs some more work done on her bike and she's taking it into the shop tomorrow. I have ridden in Marshal Canyon before. It requires a long fire road climb to get into it, but the pay off is really nice. The single track is great and there's a lot of wildlife up there. On one ride I passed a black bear and got really close to half a dozen mule deer.

I got my husband to climb it once and he won't do it again, shuttles only for us!!!

This is why I wear shin/knee guards and elbow guards every time I ride. Sycamore Canyon can really get you sometimes! Hope it doesn't hurt too much

I'm going to convert my Jamis hardtail and put the Juicy 3s on that. Not a big fan of pull brakes!

cool, what r u doing with the 3s r they up 4 grabs or r u going to build another ride 4 a spare?

Luke needs his rear derailleur adjusted, and I have to have a couple things done. Since I'm going to have it there anyway, I'm finally going to have my new brake set put on-- I currently have Avid Juicy 3s and I'm upgrading to Hayes 10th Anniversary HFX-9s. Got the brakes at an incredible price from Pricepoint, and just haven't had a chance to put them on because I haven't wanted to give up my bike! Now I don't have choice, so why not?

Heh, was getting ready message you guys. Want to, but can't. Was out there this afternoon and both of our bikes our having mechanical difficulties. Taking them into Jenson in the morning. Very lucky none of that happened on Saturday at Big Bear! Sorry we'll miss riding with you guys. We'll keep trying to connect up with you, definitely.

If your heading west on the 60, youll be making a left... towards riverside.
