The Endo is a fast bike. Very playful with great ride characteristics.

CPS - I finally demo'd my buddy's SB66c today. All I can say is wow. It was super plush on the downs, and very responsive at the pedals. I actually think the endorphin climbs a bit better (as does my friend), but the Yeti is indeed a super bike. I tested it up an extra credit climb above Rock-It in Aliso, then all the way down Rock-It. I test all bikes and parts on Rock-It because it has everything. The Yeti was a little small, so the front end felt a little tucked under compared to my bike, but the rear suspension was fantastic. For the record, we both run 2012 Marzocchi 55 Microswitch TA, so the comparison was pure - not a fork test. My buddy also commented on how stiff laterally the Endo was, and how quick it was side-to-side. I think the Chilcotin is probably a better comparison to the SB 66, but there is no carbon Chilcotin. One would have to compare aluminum to aluminum. I still love my Endo, and it is super quick and very stable - but it is not as plush as SB66c.

Never did get to try the SB66. My buddy has a large SB66c that I will try soon. Yeti is one of the few brands that builds a long enough top tube on their XL for me. However, I decided the aluminum 66 was too heavy and the carbon was out of reach for me financially. I wasn't looking to replace my 575, but I got an offer from Knolly that I couldn't refuse. I imagine the SB-66c is probably a phenomenal bike. Yeti has a special ride characteristic that is beyond the sum of its numbers (as does Knolly). "That legendary Yeti handling..."
