I've been using the Pro series for years (Axial, Pro 2, 3) and love them but just installed the Pro 4s. I bought 23mm as I always have. They seem a tad narrower or taller vs the older Pros--is this an accurate observation? That said, I'm about to restock and wonder if I should go to 25mm instead? I don't road race, just fast training and weigh 170 lbs. Thanks.

Just put 23s on my girlfriend's bike and 25s on mine. Did notice hers seemed to be a tad narrower than the Specialized tires I took off. She says they work fine for her but I love the 25s on mine.

If you don't mind me asking, what do you weigh?

Try the Michelin Krylion Carbon in 25, similar to the Pro4 Endurance, but less expensive.

Just bought the Krylions in 23mm 25% off at performance (almost bought the Pro 4 but thought the Krylion were tougher)... haven't put them on yet, have had good luck with Michis in the past..will see if they look "smallish"

I just bought a Pro4 too, but i havent installed it yet. I was hoping it would make for a good front tire, as i hear they wear a little on the fast side. But hearing they are on the skinnier side makes me kinda nervous. I mostly do coffee crew, Food park and Como rides, so they are pretty fast training rides. For reference, the tire i love up front is the diamante pro's, but i figured id try the pro 4 since i got a good deal on one.

My new 4s are basically the same width as the old Pros but as someone mentioned, a little taller than before. They feel great. Seem to roll better--maybe its the taller shape?
