    We are looking for individuals or companies who would be interested in sponsoring water/food stops along the route and we also need a few traffic control volunteers for the event.

    Routes will be posted soon.

    The 25-mile route has been designed for those riders who do not like riding on the road utilizing the bike paths as much as possible.

    [h=5]Ride2Recovery - Irvine (60-mile route)

    The 60-mile route is meant to be both enjoyable and challenging as we make our way past Newport Back Bay, the Great Park, a quick turn on part of the historic 1984 Olympic Road Course before we take on Santiago Canyon and then finish with a visit to the Blimp Hangars on the Tustin Marine Base.[/h]http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/232320213

    Thanks, Eric,

    I missed this the first time around. I think I'm in for the 60m.

    Eric,
    The volunteer page says they need two weeks notice
    "4. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) of the volunteer responsibilities must be signed and submitted to our Challenge staff within two weeks of applying for a Challenge. Your MOU can be scanned and emailed to: [email protected] or mailed to: Ride 2 Recovery, attn: Volunteer, 23679 Calabasas Rd. #420, Calabasas, Ca. 91302 "

    I was thinking of helping out ,but may just ride. It's too late for two weeks.

    Let me check for you. I'm not sure if that applies to just working at a support station or at the start/finish line.

    Eric, Sand Canyon from ~Barranca to the 5 is in the middle of construction (or it was the last time I checked).

    Do you know if there will be any signs for riders/drivers, or any way to help everyone (car/bike) navigate/alert?

    The construction is only in the area by the RR tracks and there is a bypass behind a barricade.
