I'm going to use STR to shamelessly promote my guitar repair business! :?: I'm a certified guitar luthier through Musicians Institute here in LA where I attended their Guitar Craft Academy.

I've worked as a guitar tech and ran the repair department at the music shop I was employed at back in Illinois. Although this is no longer my primary means of work, I'm looking to pick up some work on the side because I just enjoy working on instruments.

    Some of my services are:
Full setups (Floyd Rose as well)
    Custom bone nuts
    Refretting and Fret releveling/crowning
Any electrical work you can dream up (I love "Hot Rodding" guitars with new electronics and selection options!)
    Pickup Installation
guitar assembly (you have a number of parts you'd like put together into a guitar)

And just about anything else you can come up with. And quotes/estimates are always free, and I'll be happy to give an STR discount to all of you  If you have any questions, just PM me!

can you get carbon composite neck/fretboard for a Warwick double $$?

I have a Musicman Sterling bass that has been sofffocating in its case for probably a decade. After seeing my wifes (crazysue) old band clip, I'm getting the itch to play. I'll dig it out and will let you know if it needs some work.

    Another cheap plug for Sue:

Drop me a PM, I'd definitely like to see that bass! I did a "ressurection" project on a friends early model Stingray and am a big fan of Musicman stuff.

That could be a bit of a challenge. :-k It would be easier if Warwick was a more common instrument (ie J-bass or something like that), but they're already pretty specialized. I'll check to see if they share neck bolt pattern with any other common basses and get back to you .
