We are limited to 175 participants each event per our permit(350 total both events). We have tried to get the number increased but they won't allow it.

Good luck with that. Waiting lists are a major pain in the ass. There is a reason that neither us(warriors society) or gene is maintaining or even offering up a waiting list.

Please make sure that anyone who goes on the list is not guarenteed a spot, nor are people looking to sell thier spot requires to sell them to people on the list

Will do. Pain in the ass or not, it helped a friend in the past so I wanted to keep it going.

Please note that I will not be checking this thread for updates to the list. See instructions here: http://www.socaltrailriders.org/forum/racing-training/41964-2010-vq-cc-waiting-list.html

and PM me to get on the list.

    why not use Marketplace?:?:

If you want to buy a spot, post a WTB thread. If you want to sell, look for WTB or post FS thread.

Due to the sheer number of requests to buy and sell spots it would completely clog up the Marketplace forum making everything else for sale get bumped to another page.

Oh dayum, guess I can't do the VQ/CC again this year. Shoot. ;)
Training for volunteering is much more fun anyway :drunk:
Good luck to all riding! I'll be looking forward to the tales of training and hope to hop in a few rides.

    Having no waiting list...............Priceless#-o

Just let Jeff^d handle it with the sticky, he's up for it and it seems a simple process(if people can follow directions).

So are we gonna have some regularly scheduled night-time weekday training rides? Blackstar Tuesdays and STT/Luge Thursdays?

There could be a sub-forum just like there is for non-bike related sales? :?:

I think the Path has a ride on Thursdays-Cooks at 815p or something like that (check first). It's pretty popular during the winter, so it should be easy for you to get some others to go out with you :)

I can name several events WAY better, but for me, I don't have to drive 8 hrs to get to it. Besides, if it weren't so popular locally, it wouldn't have sold out so quickly. ;) Both events were sold out by 1am. According to the WS webmaster: "The official time from opening to sold out is: 47 minutes for Vision Quest and 18 minutes for Counting Coup"

There are already close to 20 waiting for a VQ spot and 37 for a CC spot 2010 VQ/CC Waiting List.

For all those who didn't register in time this year, next year just do what I did: Put a reminder in your iPhone/iBerry/iPre/iWhatever for 15 minutes prior to midnight. Then sit at your computer and surf STR until the clock strikes 12:00!
