I know a dealer (or two) and their rep pretty well. I'm not playing the "inside info" game.

These are the facts. Dealer meetings are this weekend and next weekend in Colorado. Anything said before them is hearsay. Anything said between them and Interbike is hype. I hope to have a "official release packet" of my own next week. I can tell you this. Many of us will be pleased. Some of us may be surprised (yet again) with what will be released and when. The general theme is "lighter and more efficient is better". If that means wheel travel is less, so be it. it's still going to be lighter and more efficint than the other guys. If the geometry or BB height (still subject to change) "seem wrong" based on speculation now, be patient. It will be dialed in by Interbike....

yes and no. maestro is probably as close to a DW as you're going to get without getting your pants sued off by Weagle. that said, they are still pretty different. much longer lower links on the maestro, and a more angled lower link (more chain growth being one of things that happens), among other things.

that's the thing with short-link 4-bar designs, the devil is in the details. they all look the same, but perform completely different.

I don't get the Faith. I'm sure it's different in other locales, but by my thinking, a free ride bike should be able to be pedaled up then bomb down while hitting every crazy stunt on the way. How the hell can one pedal that bike. No way to raise/slam the seat with that seat tube.

More info at Bike Rumor. Fullerton Mike says the Glory 0 as ridden is 38lbs!! And, IT PEDALS!!!

The Anthem X-SL is about 22lbs. The shocker (for me) is the Trance Advanced-SL. CARBON BABY!!
can you say 25lb 5" bike!?!?

The Reign X should feel allot like last years, only lighter.

There's also new 4x/DJ bikes that should rock. Mike said he did a million laps on the pump track on them and they killed it.

All of the big fork makers are now offering several forks in a tapered version. Basically if it existed in a 1.5, they now have a tapered offering as well.
