I keep toying with the idea of racing this class on my hardtail, just not sure if I can get back to the top in time for my second run. Oh..... the thought of 4 runs in the middle of July!

no offense, but is things like that is what keeps the true big dudes away from racing, i know and have seen guys 250 + out there on bikes but then you get some guy racing expert that barely is 200lbs and comes and destroys us. thats not fun, even if your on a hard tail.
:?: im trying to build this class to make it fair. im 325lbs, no way i can compete with the bags of twigs that race the 19-26 class....

ive recently been seeing videos of some fairly big dudes hauling some serious tail down some pretty crazy trails. im talking about where they look pro fast. makes me think the smoother you are the faster you go. however 325 is a pretty good size so i see your point.

hey johnny, I'm not gonna come race clyde. no honor in sandbagging

vince: I'll be racing clipless if possible. it really depends on the course. if there's a lot of fontana-esque sketchy loose turns that you wanna dab in, flats will probably be used.

are you going to have your new bike done in time?

I float between 250 and 265 and hold my own just fine. I dont need the big guy class, but it sure is fun place to play when I am recovering from an injury.

Just hope Kyle isnt in town and decide to race teh clydes class

the 19-26 bbeg / sport 85% of those guys wont move up so they post expert and pro times.

Yeah I was thinking of moving up for next year but I will get smoked BAD even with moving up an age group.

In reality if you look at almost every class the top guys are in the running for the next class.

Thats very true, up until last year it was true into the semi pro class...which of coarse is gone this year, which made the expert class harder, which in turn made sport harder, which also made begginer harder.

What I do, Is I pick a target, and work my hardest to beat that target....Right Adrian?????
