Hmmm... Looks a little odd. I like the 2010 Stumpjumper looks better. That frame looks heavier than the predecessor.

the first one is painted like shamu.
if it were all carbon or had a better paint job, it might look better, but as of now, i will continue to stay away from Specialized.

The design looks like a combination of the Yeti 575 and the Ibis Mojo; maybe one more, but I can't put my finger on it.

I hate to diss my "brand", but I like my 07 Enduro SL much more. At least from the pictures.

It also looks like the top tube shock mount sticks out a bit on both sides, which will probably mean some pretty banged up knees...

And since that's an S-Works, it also appears that the E150 fork is over and done with. I can't blame them. I do love mine (after its second internals replacement a year ago), but they had so many problems and caused a lot of bad press.

I am not sure what my next bike will be, but it's very unlikely that it's going to be another Specialized... :(

I like the alum. version much better...but I still think the Pitch and the Stumpy is where its at when it comes to Specialized bikes

that bike is geared toward a specific market that isn't really present in the US.

Europeans know how to do All Mountain, i think this bike was designed to attack the big Euro Enduro racing.

i would LOVE to have that bike July 11th and 12th. i probably wouldn't have much need for it the rest of the year though...

    weird

seems like they're bring the enduro down to the stumpy level. they upped the stumpy travel and made the enduro more of a climber. kinda widens the gap from cross country bikes to long travel bikes

They gave the Enduro more travel than last year and I bet the new chainstay is stronger than last years. The headtube is now 1.5" tapered, the new link stiffens up the rear end, and it's got a double with bashguard and chainguide. If anything it went more towards what an Enduro really is and less of a SJ.

I think the old enduro was better. But my 03 is still the best:bang:

Any spec couldn't hold a candle to the Ibis mojo

Forget about looks. After I totaled my 5 spot :-({|=: I test rode all the top trail bikes and the s-works enduro was by far the best one. That thing climbs great and descends even better. My conclusion after riding it was" I need to find some tougher trails."

To offer something that looks new (and improved?) and shiney to keep people buying new bikes when they don't really need them.

The last Enduro was around for 3 years, the before that 2 years, and prior to that about 4.
