    I think it's an optical illusion. The air valve bulges on one side and it looks like it is turned up towards the top giving the top edge of the can a different angle in the pic.

    The bottle and cage fitting in there is killing me. Hopefully it is a side cage. Nice ride also.

    Thanks... Yep, I went with a side load cage. It holds a small bottle just fine. I'd love for a bigger bottle, but it definitely beats having nothing or a cage mounted on the under side of the down tube.

    Definitely an illusion, otherwise I would not be a happy camper.

    Bottle cages have no place in an all mountain bike ;)

    This bike is lots of fun down hill and climbs like a goat.

    Ya, before I put the bigger rotor and spacer there was to much pressure on the banjo fitting. Now there is plenty of play.

    Nice bike. One of the best AM/Trail bikes made. OMG, those are 26" wheels!

    Using a Status 1 as an AM/Enduro rig; Shimano clipless pedals and a hammerschmidt make the climbs bearable and the downhills a whole lot of fun.
