Good Lord - there's a screen name I haven't seen in three years. Where ya been, Eric? Sweet bike! Can I assume that's a Fox 34? Looks like 650 also, yes? I see you still like silver. My eyes are still burning from your polished Intense DH bike.

My beer goggles didn't pick up the obvious wagon wheels and the "29" on the tires last night when I posted. Nice bike!

My old AM bike, 2011 Specialized Enduro. Great bike going downhill... Just a little too aggressive geometry for 60% of my rides considering all my buddies have XC bikes. This was just over 30lbs.

For a minute I went with this... Trek Fuel ex8. It just didn't do it for me. Too flexy and I felt like it would break. This bike weighed in at 29.? lbs.

Now for 2013 I'm rocking a Norco Sight 1. This is my favorite bike so far. Fenix Cyling delivered with this awesomeness. It weighs in @ 28.01 lbs as listed.

With some lighter trail/XC wheels/tires and a seat I should be in the lower 27lb. range

Fox Talas Adjustable Travel 150MM Fork
    Fox CTD Rear Shock
    XT 2x10
    XT Shifters
XT Brakes with Ice Tech Rotors
    XT Derailleurs
    Hope Bash Ring
    Race Face Chain Rings
    Bionicon C-Guide
    Race Face SixC Bars
    HT AE03 Pedals
    Novatec Diablo Hand Built Wheels
    RockShox Rverb Dropper Seat Post
Schwalbe Hans Dampf 2.35 Trail Star Front Tire
Schwalbe Nobby Nic 2.25 Pace Star Rear Tire

sickk! Id keep the front tire and swap out the rear for something lighter. That bike is just begging to be ridden hard. Have fun

You are totally right but I am heading to Mammoth tomorrow. I will switch to something better for OTH Next week... I'm going to go for it on this bike even though I will get smoked. I do have a Continental X King that is fast rolling.

    Living the dream in Oregon.

Yes indeed. Fox Float 34 (not CTD).

I am a sucker for raw aluminum.

I figured if I couldn't be fast, at least I'd try to look fast.

Go with the Monarch Plus RC3. It is well proven on the HD. If you are in SD you are welcome to take mine for a spin. Killer bike BTW!
