My name is Vince. I own and operate a prosthetics and orthotics practice in Ventura County. That means I make custom artificial limbs for amputees and orthopedic braces for persons who are recovering from surgery, stroke, spinal cord injury, fractures, etc...

My current project is to make a brace for a mountain biker who suffered extensive nerve damage to his arm/shoulder resulting in >90% paralysis of the limb. He wants to continue cycling but his arm is useless in it's current state. That will soon change...

I aspire to be a house painter, If only I could aford the paint for the house.

Love to MTB, been at it 1.5 years now and just got my wife a bike 1 month ago. She loves it too!

    A roof over your head

I'm Everett, I ride a mountain bike. Married, for 19 years and my wife rides a little bit too.

To pay for cool new bike parts, I'm a project director for a residential architecture firm in the OC. I'm the guy who may have helped design the home you live in. Been at it for the past 24 years.

PS - I taco'd my 29er front wheel two days ago in a near head on collision on Coyote, and now looking forward a full new set being built by the boys over at the Path. Wooo Hooo.

Seriously, I work in the Structural Steel Fabrication Industry, I am also a CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) and have certificates from SDSU in both basic and advanced "Construction Engineering and Project Management.

Unfortunately, we do not do Aluminum or 4130 at our shop (I wish we did though!).

Many different career fields here, thought I'd drop mine in too!

    Currently trying to trade jobs,
have worked fabbing aluminum race radiators, at a nursery and landscape company, at csuf's green house propogating plants, cloning in the lab and all kinds of fun and not fun stuff, I currently take care of a bunch of exotic animals and teach kids as a naturlist. I do a few animal shows a year with my personal animals as well.

My name is Lindsay. I've been teaching 6th grade for 9 years. I work nights teaching college kids how to read and comprehend college level textbooks, and every once in a while, I get to work at a really cool bike shop.

Five year plan - Get a full time job working nights at the college and work at the bike shop during the day. One can only hope.

I work in the Regulatory Affairs Deparment of a medical device company. I specialize in helping medical device companies get their products out on the market. Currently I specialize in heart products (catheters, heart valves, neuromodulation devices) it's alot of fun (not really). I get to register these products worldwide. Hey, it helps buy Julia12 new bikes. It also helps my 16 yr old with cool clothing. My bike ain't that bad either.

If your interested learning about this career let me know.
