Several nice folks donated some bike parts to me that I needed and it felt real nice to be the recipient of the generosity. So, I'd like to continue the act of kindness and start this thread. Feel free to post your items that you'd like to donate to others in need.

    Here goes:

GIVEN a pair of used Panaracer Fire XC PRO 2.1 UST tires
    [IMG]
They’ve been in storage for a while and look used, but they hold air tubeless on UST rims with some goo goo juice. (Picture shows some remnants of dried Stans inside and some SCST dirt on the outside.) With the tougher UST construction, it'll work great with tubes also. The 60% or better knobs provide sufficient traction and roll fast on hardpack/pavement. 2 tires available for anyone in need.

GIVEN Cane Creek lock-on grips (similar to OEM picture below)
Not compatible with thin carbon bars, but will work nicely on alloy bars. Good condition, except the outer clamps have slight scratches on black finish (easy touch-up w/black marker).

    GIVEN
    KMC Z51 single-speed chain
Stock chain for Gary Fisher RIG single-speed. Used only for 2~3 rides. Length sufficient for similar frame with 32 X 20 or less, or should work with 26er-single setups with larger gearing.

    GIVEN SRAM PC-68 8-speed chain
    [IMG]
This one showed a little stretch registering on gauge after a few rides, but didn't change much throughout season (can be used for many more miles). Length shortened to work for 29er frames with 32 X 23 or less gearing and most 26er-single setups. Additional links included for lengthening/splicing.

Let me know if you need any of above (local pickup in South OC or reasonable distance so I can drop by). PM me please.

WTG: 2 sets of Shimano 540 SPD's. One set is very used, the other not so much.

With cleats for anyone looking to get into the clipless side of riding.

Also found a set of black salsa skewers, the rear is slightly scuffed up a bit

more small things like these to be added later with pics

I'm still interested in buying that bash guard from you if you still have it :) and if I could, could I try out just the front mechanical disc brake?

I have a couple of tires I can give away, one is a Bontrager 2.2 but looks more like a 1.95! still a lot of life, tubeless ready.
one 2.35 tire, not sure on the brand or model (I'll have to check later) but I know the life on it is at about 30%.
I have a disc only wheel set, Mavic (again not sure on the model) the rear wheel has a slight dent in it, still holds air. The front seems good to go.

How about an Honor System for the folks receiving donated goods?
    • The item(s) find good use by the receipient
    • If not being used anymore and still reusable, give it to someone else in need
    • Not resold for profit later

    they found new homes.

I've had these two FF helmets sitting in the garage.
first a med.rockgardn blacklight, been used 15-20 times, no crashes and has never been dropped.
second a med. the-industries, I raced this one for almost a season, ( it was my race weekend only helmet) no crashes and has never been dropped. just wash the padding and your good. Im in Huntington, shoot me a pm.
