The pathetic part is, if they did test I guarantee there would be a few positives for Testosterone (Steroids).

Eric thanks for pushing me during the training rides. We both knew we would finish, but I truly had no idea of the time it would take me to get to the line. The rides we did and the planning truly paid off. Looking forward to next year when we both brake the 6 hour barrier.

See you on the trails soon, and the Traverse better watch out(maybe)

Thank you. The sorting thing is cool as I get a much better position. This is my consolation price for been so slow#-o.

If I sort by age, I am 36th
If sort it by ss rigid, I get 6th
If I sort it by ss rigid and age, I get 2nd.

This is much much better than pathetic 122, but who cares...it was not a race after all.:-k

I've been juicing with high alpha acid IPA's for a couple years now, with noticeable gains in post-ride muscle relaxation, carbohydrate storage, and extended bouts of improved (double) vision. Next years training program will definitely include more Belgian strains, which when utilized in an unfiltered state have been seen to demonstrate gains in vitamin E storage and yeast consumption.

Then again, i'll probably just ride more.

I am stoked to have finished 30th in VQ. Especially considering that in January 2006, after about 3 years off the bike, I wouldn't even go up Mathis because I thought it was too tough.

haha I'm the Ducati Racer Guy......was trying to make it in under 6:30 so was busting ass down the road at the end. Actually you made me go faster, I was just trying to get away from the cowbell, hehe......btw thanks for stopping to make sure I was okay after I slid out hard in one of those stream crossings! Discovered a huge hole in the ass of my shorts after the race from that!

Troy, congrats on a smoking result! Somehow I missed you before, during, and after, but glad to see you had a great result. See you on the dirt!

Hey MP3, I was following you down lower Holy Jim thinking you were a tourist on a BMX bike, I knew something was wrong when I couldn't keep up with you on 32x20 gearing. Trader Joe's would be proud of your uniform.

The list of STR finishers grows but the thumbnails shrink to unreadable.

The latest data will be Here.

Note the tabs on the bottom of the page for navigation. It's an Excel page dumped to the web including raw data from the Warriors.

PM if you want to join the STR list. :)

I looked at my time splits from 2007 when I last finished the VQ...pretty crazy. (pretty sure my memory is right on all the laps)

Lap 1 is Blackstar Motorway @ 4,584' of climbing
Lap 2 is Maple to HJ parking lot @ 4,078' of climbing

    then the insults begin...

Lap 3 is the ride from HJ parking lot to the gate at lower Trabuco. .89 miles and a unusually painful 239' of climbing.

Now here comes Lap 4, what seems to be the most painful piece of singletrack in the OC. Lower Trabuco to the bottom of WHT. 1.61 miles of pain and another 716' grueling feet of on the bike, off the bike madness.

And then Lap 5, WHT (or WTF as many rename it while hiking) a brutal mile and a half of hiking with 1400' to slap you in the face.

Now that you're done killing yourself, climb another 500 feet on lap 6 then descend 7 miles of sketchy singletrack and see if you can not die and still hold the bars. Good luck! =)

And to think some people had been done for 2 and 3 hours at this point.

Before I did the VQ, I thought, "It's only 8 more miles, how hard can it be." Once I did the VQ, I thought, "That's like doing the Coup twice."
