I think I'm going. We'll see if my ego is up to it. This season promises to demote me from penultimate to just the end--I thought 2nd to last was bad. ;)

Nationals suck for experts, you need to have a usa cycling license $60. for those who only race in fontucky, or we can sandbag and race sport, sport and beginners can get 1 day license's for $5-10 or not race and go heckle everyone we can for freeeeee. :bang:

I would like to just race this one event at Southridge, not the whole series. Can I do this and would there be awards after the event? xc sport or beg class if that matters.

Yes there are awards per event later in the day of the event, then an overall award for the whole series(i think).

Nationals and Team Big Bear suck! I did 3 Nationals last year and they don't do an overall champion for sport/beginner categories. They overcharge you to race and give you a limited practice schedule. I'm gonna go heckle and have a few brews then race the SRC race on sunday.

No license required to race DH or 4x!!!

The XC and SD will be National events and will require a USAC license. The DH and 4x WILL NOT require a license and will be the 1st round of the California Golden State Series!!!

    Race fees
    DH $45
    Beg DH 9yrs-18 yrs $35
    4x $40

Here is the response from Donny Jackson:

No it will be the event seeing that there is no membership needed to race both the D-H & Mtn-x. They will count as Cal-State. I will be posting the info soon, thanks.

P.S. The categories on the National site is what I will be using.

    Donny
