    It did but was corrected. The cutoff time at 4 corners is 11:30am

    Thanks Sweatpea. But I still got my eye trained on cutoff #3 at 12:30pm at the bottom of Holy Jim.

    Good Luck Waldo I know you had a tough year last year

    I don't know why, I was tired when I signed up this am was kinda so so... now I came back and read all the posts ... I am psyched!

    I talked a new person in last year...She had never done the race (CC) it was her first MTB race ever and she finished. This year we got her son to sign up and another first timer!

    I told them and I can see, smell, taste, hear and feel it...
    One of those crisp clean cool but sunny days up around 4000 ft on my ride....can't wait!

    Thanks, however I have no point of reference for where on the elevation profile these cutoffs are located. I will be more specific. At what mileage mark in this elevation profile are the cutoffs located? I am in San Diego so the majority of my training will be done here and any info regarding distance and elevation gain to the cutoffs will help greatly with planning my training along with many others who will find this info useful.     The first cutoff at 9:30 is at about the 18+ mile mark. Elevation gain is about 4500 ft. The second cutoff at 11:30 at 4 Corners is at about the 26+ mile mark and the gain there is about 2700 ft. At this point, the CC participants have made the cutoffs and will finish.

    If your'e doing the VQ, those first 2 cutoffs will not mean anything to you cause if you are at the second cutoff at 4 Corners at 11:30, you will not make it to the bottom of Holy Jim by the 3rd cutoff at 12:00.
