I'm in for the coup. Let the pain begin! Does this mean that I have to hang up the DH bike for the next five months :?::lol:

It certainly does not. But climbing on the DH couldn't hurt.

Signed up for VQ. I'll either train and be ready, or I'll volunteer and hand all you fools Chicken at the end.

I am voting for all cute girls to do the CC. I would like something pleasing to follow on my long hot day on the mountain :)

Haha that's pretty funny. This will help your time too, as the cute girls I think you're speaking are farking fast.

Believe it or not. But even with all the people on the course you'll have plenty of time riding all on your own.

At 8 1/2 hours after the registration opened....we had 82 signed up for the CC and 112 for the VQ...I think it might sell out by the end of the day....only 175 allowed in each event! I will keep you posted as the day goes on.

So I registered for the CC on a regular MTB are they going to freak out if I show up on the SS??? Is this something that I can change later?? Does it matter as the goal on the SS would be simply to survive and not be competitive??

Just contact me closer to the event and let me know what type of bike you will be on so I can update the records....since there are truly no classes in the event it doesn't really matter but we do make notes next to your name on the finishing times if you are on a single speed so you crazy single speeders can see how you did next to all the others....make sure I know a couple weeks before the event before we make up the packets.
