I created this loop over the weekend that includes PCH, SART, and into LB on the river trail by using La Palma to connect them all. Can anyone help me with a better road than La Palma to ride East West on to connect these trails? La Palma sucks...no bike path and is narrow in spots.

Here's the GL route: Geoladders -- Twin River Sewer Tour

I used to do a similar route but I came down Katella to Cypress(Where I used to live) and I think my route was about 45 miles....

Are you set on keeping it at 50+ miles??

I've rode with Riverside Bike Club and this is pretty much the same ride they do.

I used to communte down Coyote creek and then go up La Palma.
There really isn't anything too much better. Ball/Taft or Carson/Lincoln could work, but they have trouble spots too.
Maybe Centrailia/Crescent and then cut to Lincoln or La Palma at Brookhurst? I have no idea what it might be like now.

'06 Trek 5200. It's so sweet. The frame is light and just shoots off like a rocket in a sprint.

Ya 50 miles is best. I can blow through that pretty quickly. Any shorter and it's too short.
