Think the original design came from UCI's sanctioned 98/99 Lotus track bikes. :read:

design has been licensed to a few manufactures so it's hard to tell.
she's at 16.7 lbs or so, not lite by todays standards.

here's an older pic, off PCH and Rock north of Pt. Mugu.

at one time all of my rides were really freaky, including the beloved Raven 4000sx with a Hanebrink G7 and Grimeca Aero Magnesium rims., 25.5lbs, 4" agro xc ride, great climber and super fast descender, the flexi frame and sloppy G7 propelled me to over 45mph's on local fire road descends.
creak-and-failed 3 of those frames., Cannon's got mad and gave me a Gemini frame, yak !

.eventually built a Norco Atomik to mimic Raven's looks but with a Monocoque 6061 Alu front triangle, very M1 like., 35lbs 5.5" pigster.

Yeah, I went on more then one ride with Freaky and his bikes really get the looks. I got to admit, this one is my favorite.
