Hello STR. I thought I would give it a shot here although I know STR is not the autobuys.

I have a 1978 Cadilliac Seville Milan Rodester for sale. It orginally left the factory as a four door Seville Sedan, Then the new owner took it over to a Coach building compony called Milan Coach Builders. The car had it's rear seats and roof taken off (18inches or so) It was turned into a convertable with a hand opened top.

It Drives ( I actully Drive it once a week or more) It is a restoration project car. the seats have been redone. Main focus first would be transmission because, once drive is engaged you must wait like 10 seconds for it to click in, or even sometimes give throttle for it to click in.

For Price & Info & more Pics call me at 818-519-1811 or e-mail [email protected].

A wheelie would really be hard since I could have sworn that car was front wheel drive. Notice the tranny tunnel, or the lack there of. A true sign of someone with waaaayy too much time and money on their hands.#-o

Nope Sevilles were rear wheel drive. The Eldorado was the only front driver Caddy at that time using the Olds Toronado platform.

As Rivet said, it is a rear wheel drive. They were basicallly a fancy exterior/interior built on a Nova chassis. I believe they used a small block 350ci that they may have called a Caddy engine, but really just a Chevrolet/GM small block V8 powerplant.

That would be a good thing as far as being able to easily restore it to good running condition.

Probably just a slushbucket Turbo 350 transmission too, which would make a tranny repair fairly reasonable.
