 You keep telling yourself that. I ride a lot more than you think. And, I don't fall off into creeks using my head for a landing spot.

I have a good loop of about 60 miles I've been doing lately. Includes part of Santa Ana bike path, Santiago Cyn Rd, Aliso Crk bike path, San Diego Creek, Back Bay and some connector streets, mostly with bike lanes. I usually start on the Santa Ana bike path near the 405 Fwy, because that's the closest spot to my house. I'd be up to do that or some variation of it on Sunday at about 9:00am. Anyone interested?

ummmmm......depends on what pace you can keep. i wanna be done to leave by 11:30 latest to beat most of the traffic heading home. I live in the inland empire so I have to take either the 91 )NO WAY THIS FREEWAY ALWAYS SUCKS!!!) the 60(usually not too bad but sucks when you get the the 15), the 10(i never take this freeway) or the 210(usually the best choice). So sooner the start time longer the ride is better for me.

I'm interested since I have the day off. I'd like to go early too. 8-11 would be perfect, if 20 mph pace is doable? Might not be for me. :?:

Well currently I have a 1985 schwinn paramount and I can hold around 18.5 for up to like 60 miles taking turns drafting, but i am supposed to get a new bike, 2004 cervelo dual on monday so I should have increased speeds so maybe 20mph average is doable! We can take turns drafting! 8-11 sounds perfectif we can get it done...if it takes a little longer thats fine...traffic shouldnt be too bad by then, i hope

Since people are talking about it, some of us are doing the Tour de Foothills ride, it's a metric century or metric half-century through Upland, Claremont, LaVerne, San Dimas and up through the Baldy area. I'm not riding Friday so I can be fresh for that day. Maybe some are interested? Should be fun.

I might be down, but I need to take a road hub and wheel into a shop and have them swap the freehub from the hub to the wheel.... I could do it if I had access to a vice..... the hub is new and I could careless what happens to the shell of it....
