Want to know where reputable local bike shops are?
Want to help people know of even more?
Then by all means go ahead and click the picture below :)

For now I've only gone through the Bike Shop Reviews forum and put up the shops people pointed out. God knows there has to be quite a bit more.

like right now i'm wondering what's in the Whittier area in case I want/need to pick up something on my lunch hour.
I'm hoping this will add more shops to the L.A. and Diego areas as well as everything in between. There's been a couple times I've been riding and afterwards wondered where the local shops are, or what else was available. It'd be nice to browse STR on the road and find out there's a shop worth checking out just a couple minutes away. :bang:

So, anyone with a google/gmail account can edit it, though be nice.

So far plotted on the list are:
    The Path Bike Shop
    Switchback Cyclery
    Banning Bikes
    Adrenaline Bikes
    Rock n Road Cyclery
    Surf City Cyclery
    WheelWorld
    The Bike Co.
    Jones Bicycles (II)
    Cal Coast Bicycles
    IE Bikes
    Bike Improve
    Incycle
    JensonUSA
    Laguna Beach Cyclery
    Cynergy Cycles
    Buena Park Bicycles Co.
    Fullerton Bicycle Co.

*a couple of these places have more than one store, so obviously those are included as well on the map

    Have at it.

A couple other shops that have received reviews here are Fullerton Bicycles and Buena Park Bicycles.
http://www.fullertonbicycle.com/ (the web site address gets to both shops)

How do you make the map show all of the place markers at onced? The trailhead map does it, but the bike shop map is broken down into several pages.

hey david, what do you think about changing the shop marker colors to something other than blue, that way you can overly the two maps and see where the shops are in conjunction with the ride spots.

In the google maps, I can see both maps at the same time by adding your map to "my maps" and checking the box next to it.

google has their own reviews under a lot of these shops, might be worth checking out if there isn't much said on here about a particular shop

I was gonna add Back Alley (Murrieta), Redhawk (Temecula), Cycopath (Temecula), and Bicycle Warehouse (Temecula), but I can't figure how to add.

I think IE Bikes is on there twice also.
