The Warrior's Society wants to give a Big Thanks to Rock n Road Cyclery for their continued support of our 2008 Warrior's Society Events. Without major sponsors like your shop we wouldn't be able to put on our events. Thanks again for all the financial support as well as the product for our raffles!!!

Every single time i call or visit they are always over the top and willing to help out with anything i need. This is speaking about the mission viejo location as it is the only one i have ever been to. I am not surprised that they help out with events such as this.

Ive only been to the Anaheim Hills store and they are so helpful and personable that I make it a point to shop there when I'm in town to the exclusion of any other store. They ROCK! :bang:

Rock N Road of Mission Viejo

So I was riding around in Mission Viejo today and saw Rock N Road cycling. I had never been in the place, but had heard of it before. As I manual up to the door and practice my stoppie/endo, a guy comes out ready to help out. I asked "What are my options as far as a bent rim goes?" His reply was "Lets take a look!" as he and I take my wheel off, he proceeds to slam it on the ground. I am thinking OMGOMGOMG. So anyways he takes it to the back and trues it up, once getting the big warp out. Free of charge, proceeds to help my friend and tell me where some other riding is.

    A+

Big thanks to everyone at Rock and Road Mission Viejo. They have gone above and beyond for me not once, not twice, but three times in the last 2 weeks.

Just wanted to add another good review for R&R, especially the Laguna Hills shop. They have always been super quick to help out when something isn't working right on my mountain bike, and since I bought it from them a few years ago, the service is typically free (or really cheap). Plus, they're really nice, and seem to have hit the right balance between being attentive and answering questions, and letting me browse around aimlessly poking at things for sale.

Charles at the Irvine store is great!

Brought my bike in and he spent 45 min with me checking out my bike, examining shock, test riding, inspecting rotors, etc. Didn't charge me a dime, said he didn't "fix" anything.

Love LBS shops like that. I'll be back.

The Laguna Niguel store is great!

They helped me out several times with bike tech problems. It's great that they are so close to Aliso Woods.

I brought my SS 29er to the Mission Viejo store this morning due to a drive side crank issue. They had a number of customers coming in and out. Super busy for a Saturday morning. Tony fixed the problem on the spot so I wouldn't miss out on a weekend ride! Excellent service, excellent crew, and great conversations! Thanks!

Been there a few times myself and was very happy with their service. i try to stop in anytime im in the area.
Just goes to show you customer service goes a long way.

There is a Bike shop down the street from where i live and every time i go the workers are in the back talking.
I dont even get an acknowledgment. they did that twice to me and now i will never go back. id rather drive 5 extra miles and give my business to people who deserve it.

I've had some good times at Rock N Road. Once they gave me a free Specialized t-shirt when I asked how I could buy one. That's super rad. Also, instead of selling me a tool I would only use once they just tightened the part for me free of charge. Some of the best shop employees ever.

i dont think i will buy clothing there...wife got some jerseys there and when i found out the price it was full retail pop yikes! The Path wasnt a dealer of twinsix then but they are now and their prices are awesome compared to MSRP.

Kudos to them for trying to make a buck

Yo, you got that right, the S people are not only satisfied with you carrying the line but want you to pimp everything from saddles to shoes with the S logo ....and not to be outdone, Trek/Gary F are the same, they want you to pimp Bontrager cranks to chains. Basically you are rewarded with a free neon S or Trek sign you can hang in the window.

There's this little shop called Bear Valley Bikes that has been a Specialized dealer for a long time. I went in there and bought some off brand gloves by Rav-X. I asked the owner why he wasnt pimping out S gloves. He told me he doesnt buy them (then) and said he'd rather buy what he wanted to. Good policy. A year later he still carries Rav-X and I bought another pair.

I believe Rock & Road and Surf City are Specilized concept stores (or whatever term is used). There are certain purchasing and stocking requirements for Specialized products. Unfortunately, in order to meet the quotas, they don't want to carry parts that people want, but what they can cram down your throat (did I type that out loud?).

Many normal Specialized, such as The Path, Fullerton Bicycles, etc. carry Specialized as well as other brands to give the customer a choice.
