I mourn the addition of the pedals! Balance bike was soooo core!

Built up myself. Been riding it about 6 weeks with old parts. Just got some cool new parts last week. New carbon wheels and RS Rev RCT3 140 fork. Loving it!

Because there's so much Specialized love going around right now...

Here is my couple month old Spesh Stumpjumper 29'er, which I absolutely love. I had serious reservations on 29'ers, primarily because I'm not a very tall person. But I am completely sold on them.

In the old days, they would drown and burn witches.

    Finally joined the club

Well, I finally joined the 29er club, and I'm also sold on the bigger hoops. It's nothing boutique or blingy - just your basic Giant Anthem Advanced 1 with XT spec - but with The Path's "Sacrifice Sale" price it was too good a deal to pass up.

I swapped the front Racing Ralph for a Nobby Nic, added a 180mm front rotor, 740mm Race Face SixC bars with ESI Chunky silicone grips, and my own saddle and kronolog dropper post. As shown it's at 26.9 lbs - not too bad for a size large 29er with pedals and a dropper. At some point I may upgrade the wheels and maybe try a 120mm fork to make the downs a bit more fun, but for now I'm enjoying it plenty as-is. It's a great climber that fits the majority of my riding pretty well, and it ought to work pretty well for my first attempt at VQ.

Haven't seen dirt yet. I'm sure it's got more plush than my rigid SS.
