    Hello everyone
I am present, I am Julien, monitor of mtb in the French Alps more precisely to the GETS.
I come to california to spend holidays with my bike all the month in novembre and the week before. I drive quite a lot in France and I do not know the trails around Los Angeles at all. I looked on the net and I came across your forum.
Is it possible that some of you can tell me or roll or even show me and come rolling with me .......
Thanks to you and good ride

Welcome to the states Julien! Where in Cali are you staying we have members (and lurkers) all over So Cal. Have you managed to get yourself a bike? If not check out the numerous local bike shops! Highly recommend checking out Aliso Woods and Santiago Oaks if you are in Orange County. Cheers!

Here are some groups you can join that posts rides in Orange County and surrounding areas:
    - search SOCMTBR on Facebook
    - search AMTR on meetup.com

Here are trails I recommend assuming you are at least an intermediate rider around Orange County/Socal:
    - Aliso
    - Laguna
    - San Juan Trail
    - Mt Wilson (park at JPL and climb or take shuttle)
    - Snow Summit bike park (may be closed by the time you get here)
    - SART
    - Skyline in Big Bear
    - Hanna Flats / Grey's Peak in Big Bear
    - Palm Canyon Epic
    - Cannell Plunge in Kernville
    - GMR
    - Noble Canyon towards San Diego

You are only 4-6 hrs from some other awesome places to ride:
    - Las Vegas
    - St George/Hurricane, UT
    - Sedona, AZ
    - Santa Cruz
    - Downieville (8 hrs away) (Highly recommend this)
    - Lake Tahoe area (8 hrs away) (might be too cold)
