Damn, got to the post late... was playing in Mammoth this weekend, not much computer time. Is it time to post yet? Simply awesome work behind the lens, sdyeti.

Andy...we're coming home Friday (just in time to miss Crankworx...but we are getting to see how they're building the slopestyle and seeing some bike celebrities :))

Well, we had a dinner date with Carla, Eric, and Scott tonight so we just got back...posting momentarily.

Yes, all day long we get sightings of them and run into them on the lift lines...in fact, we saw Eric and Scott from the lift on B Line doing a "you can't pedal" race :)

Thanks...I've gotta take a lot of pics to get the ones that are "just right"...but it's fun!

Very warm weather today and tired peeps = a sort of low-key day. Not so many runs today and we took a break mid-way through BUT we still had fun!

I sampled my first dirt today on A-Line (a stupid mistake, really and I'm okay).

Dan killed it today, so today's pictures are in honor of him:

Day #4...Dan, on the Dirt Merchant drop-in

Dan, A-Line drop (I rolled it...not much air time for me on that one)

That brings back memories. That same spot is where I broke my wrist, 5 yrs ago now. The tranny was real beat up that day so I had been rolling the rock face. Imagine riding up to the edge of it and seeing a bike laying across the tranny. You're going too fast to stop, too slow to air over it, and the bike is just far enough from the rock face it was impossible to miss it. I tried to ride it out and pull up at the bottom, but still got launched over the bars. I landed down near that tree in the middle of the picture and my bike catapulted down across the intersection where it almost took out my friend who had ridden the alternate line. Meanwhile the kid who had left his bike there was off to the side of the trail trying to shake a pebble out of his shoe. Even after I crashed he didn't move it. #-oMiraculously no other riders came down the next 20-30 sec til my friend moved it, then there was a train of 10-12 guys. I shudder to think of the carnage that could have happened if they had been right behind me. The following season they hung a mirror from a tree to the right of the drop so you could see if there is a hazard.

Sorry for the hijack- be careful! And thanks for the great pics!

Oh damn! I can't imagine eating it over that drop...yikes!

Yeah, I crashed on a section I had been ripping through the day before...toward the bottom where A Line gets really narrow through the trees. There is a sharp right hander off a little rock roller...I came into it too far right and felt my front tire break away as I was turning. Ended up on my right side. A little sore this morning...

But, plan is to maybe hit the airdome today and ride the park, too.

It's hard to say...I like so many of them, but I'd have to say Crank It Up (b/c it has jumps that I can clear and it's really fast)!

As I sit here typing, the boys are still sleeping...](*,)

I went to Whistler last summer. Sigh. I still miss it! I've enjoyed the pics... Thanks for taking the time posting 'em!

Crank It Up is a fun run...no doubt about it!

Those ladder drops you hit are very smooth, have you gone higher yet?

I was thinking about it but I kept coming unclipped (I know, I know) off some of the jumps/drops I did today...I think I need to switch my cleat around. Am going to do that tonight and then maybe tomorrow...

Posting up some Day #6 pics soon...

Day #6...hoo boy it was a hot one today...at least low 80s and the air was very hazy (fire?).

Got off to a rough start with the rental car (window refused to go back up) so had to deal with that.

But, the boys got some air time at the Air Dome ($15 for a 3 hour sesh...not bad), and Dan & I hit the lifts in the p.m. once it cooled down...

Dan, at the Air Dome, throwing the look-back
