What better way to celebrate graduating from 8th grade than a trip to Mammoth? How about two trips to Mammoth?

This is the kids' third season riding at Mammoth. They have gotten terrific help from Brian (aka Grenader26), Nate (who makes the videos posted on the Mammoth web site) and Gill (who is also a local teacher.) Brian, Nate and Gill have not only been great instructors, but have spent their free time riding with the kids, and have gotten them involved in the local XC and downhill races. They are a great part of the Mammoth mountain biking community (not to mention the fact that Brian is a scary-fast rider).

In their August trip, the kids focused on riding the new wall rides, jumps and the 4X course that the trail crew built this season.

And then, there are the old favorites

And last, but not least, a quick video from our trip in early July with the full crew (including Axel's first Flow drop.)

Quite impressive pics of the Shotgun jump!

With regard to the FLOW DROP: It's kinda' depressing watching a kid 1/2 my age making it "look" easy when I have yet to MAN UP...8-[

    Awesome! :bang:
