I got this rack to add a extra bike for shuttling works pretty good but man does it take for ever to get that red knob tight, does anyone sell or make a quick turn, ratchet system to snug it up faster?

That's a great rack, I had one for awhile but got rid of it only because my roofline couldn't fit more that one. Anyway, I never experienced that--just a few turns was good. Is the front loop bar set to the proper tire size? Mine took only a few turns and it was snug. Maybe call Yakima for some tips.

I wouldn't call 10-15 seconds "forever". 3-4 seconds of smacking it to thread it down and maybe another 7-10 seconds of cranking it tight for piece of mind and a secure front tire. Not instantaneous, but, not labor intensive either.

Possible. I remember mine being slightly less free spinning when new (i have 2) but they worked in pretty quickly.

Funny I just grabbed one to add a bike to our setup. With me having the smaller 1 1/4 hitch, I cannot add the T2 additional 2 bike setup to my existing T2.. haven't even used it yet but the price was right for the addl capacity
