Looking for a regular and a long. Open to any model Big Agnes bag.

Also looking for lightweight backpacking stuff. Like alcohol stove, Big Agnes sleeping pads, 1-2 person tents or Henessey Hammock, etc.

Have bike parts for trade too.

    Hey Rob,
Check on REi.com and look up the outlet store. I just got a tent, bag and sleeping pad for less than three bills. And it's all pretty light backpacking stuff.

the big agnes is always on steep and cheap. Check backcountry.com too (where the stuff on SAC comes from). They usually have a 20% off online coupon.

Rob, when I saw your post, I thought that maybe you're getting into backpacking (as I am, again). :)

REI is a good starting point, since you can see products first-hand and they have these great info sheets that compare brands/models/prices of certain types of items they sell (i.e. sleeping bags, tents, stoves, etc.).

Brian at the Path ('donkey' on STR) does a lot of bike-packing and is a great source of info for UL gear.

Ever since a crash a few years ago I can't put too much weight on my right shoulder if hiking, maybe 12 lbs max including bag. I do want to do some backpacking, but I think it would kill my shoulder/collar bone. Bikepacking seems perfect because I don't need to carry much on my back.

When I went backpack camping I bought a 2 person tent from Big 5 for 19.99.. I think the original is 25.99, still a good price.. weighs about 3.4 pounds

A proper fit backpack shouldn't be putting barely any weight on your shoulders. You should go to your local REI and try out the new Gregory packs. My wife and I have them and they rock. THey can load up the pack with sandbags to imitate your backpack with about 30-40 lbs in it to see if it hurts your shoulder.

I picked up a BA seedhouse ul tent on the super cheap from their site. it was brand new and I saved some huge loot.
they sell stuff off the site randomly on the super cheap if you must have BA I'd say be patient and keep checking their site 2-3 times a week.

As far as the alcohol stove - make a pepsi can one. Google it.
Super cheap and very effective - I was testing mine out in the driveway last night. Works great and very light weight.
