It seemed like some one on this forum a while back collected donations to replace the flag and the pole. I forget who it was but maybe some one knows this person. Also I left a racer 5 IPA at the flag, if it's still there and your thirsty it's all yours!

They rolled at 8:30 from Wahoo's rode through Whiting and up to the luge this morning. Happens every Memorial Day.

I was out there this morning (doing guess what) and saw a big group headed that way. Pretty sure it was organized by AMTR. Thanks Indy and Tasha and Heather and the multitude of others who honored our troops and took care of this!

Good seeing you out there, Charles. Thanks for stopping. AMTR was out in force!

Glad this tradition is still carrying on. For the past couple years, my work schedule no longer permits me to join. Nice job guys & gals

Sorry, I don't know what AMTR is. Good to hear it did happen, I couldn't go with some home remodeling going on.
I did see (by stalking on Strava) that Eric Foltz titled his ride Replacing the Flag or something similar. It made me warm and fuzzy inside reading that.

I just learned about them myself over the weekend. AMTR stands for All Mountain Trail Riders, and it's a Meetup group with over 1,300 members. They had a good turnout for this event, and I was impressed with their friendly, courteous and outgoing vibe.
