Finally caught that overdue cold, but with some peculiar circumstances... Rode med-hard Sunday, then rode hard Tuesday PM. In the night my leg started hurting and I wondered what I did to it on the ride. Blew it off, woke up, and found a tick burried in my leg, no doubt from Sunday. So it had been there a couple days. I think between the hard ride and defending the tick bacteria, my immune sys was compromised and left me open to a common cold bug. Maybe off base, but I'm blaming it on that damn freeloader. Check yerself, like I didn't...
Me too...I was being hyper vigilant with the hand washing there for awhile but I guess I let down my guard, and caught the bug. I blame it on those booger machines at the grocery store.
You can't really protect yourself. It is not only the grocery stores, but the menus at restaurants, etc. If you are meant to get it, you will.
Not sick, but out due to injury. Always seems to happen early in the year. I think I know when my off-season should be.
