    You also did some additional drainage work! I noticed it this evening. Great work and much appreciated.

    Thanks for noticing! I rode up with a small pick and put in some preliminary drainage on the rutted area below the sinkholes. It was pretty dry to be doing actual trail work, but I wanted to keep the ruts from getting worse. Hoping for better digging conditions and a few fellow volunteers to help put some shape into the trail where the ruts are, which will dish out the trail and make it more fun for descending riders.

    Thanks for all the kind words and support--I truly appreciate it! Thanks also to the Forest Service for trusting our repairs and re-opening the trail, as well as Jeff Pezman, and the 4 riders who stopped that first day and threw brush, swung picks and shoveled dirt.
