I ended up creating a version using Visio. Size should be 1:1 for printing purposes. Nice job on this bdegroodt!

Nice. Hopefully you didn't waste half your day doing this instead of what you're paid to do--like I did. Oops!

I might one up you with a little "HTFU!" line across the top. :bang:

    See ya Saturday.

No I did it in between waiting for stuff to process on some analysis I'm doing for a meeting later today. Calculating the building to land ratio for all properties in our city. Trying to figure out how much potential landscaping area there is within each property in an effort to decrease water use. Fun stuff but can't stop thinking about riding my bike!

    Traverse Start Time?

So, I'm pretty sure it's at 7:00 right ? However in the "official pdf" - Traverse event info emailed on April 29th on page 2 I read "We will not have shuttles to the start You must transport yourself there - the start with COMMENCE at 6 am whether you are there or not" .... Has this been addressed and i've been MIA or what?

I thought start time is 7am. I'm pretty sure someone from the Warriors will read this thread and confirm.

Start time for the Traverse has always been 7am, correct? It still says 7am on the website & I have not heard anything to the contrary this year.

I suspect that one of the reasons it is so late is so that the heat *is* a factor that you have to deal with. It's a challenge that comes with the course.

    Pretty sure it's 7 am.

Thank God that it most likely won't be as hot as last year.

Thats what I think, i'm picking up my packet later today... My guess is under the traverse "general information" page 2 of the PDF it was copy pasted from another event or last years traverse or something and never changed the time..

Now just superimpose a huge, glowing, unforgiving, angry sun above that graphic and you will have an accurate representation of the course. #-o

YES, IT IS AT 7AM. The 6am time on page 2 of Traverse Event info is in reference to race packet pickup if you didn't pickup your race number prior. The past 2 have started at 7am as well.

So far, looks pretty good for this Saturday. I'll be offering up a sacrifice to the God of Sun this evening to make sure he's kept happy and in no need of torturing us.

Nice. To all the racers out there, even though the weather seems cooler, I'd start drinking your water and eating your fruits today and tomorrow.

It was 87 degrees up at Four Corners today. Swarms of ladybugs.

MD to the peak isn't in too bad of shape. Just the usual rocky sections in the first mile from Four Corners.

As tradition has it... shouldn't the race be tomorrow? I mean, that's what the weather report says...:?:
