I think there is a gate, guess you can get around it. But why would you want to drive around a ski area? Stealing bikes?

Yeah the gate would stop a vehicle hence the .5 mile walk/hike up to the SS restaurant. And yes we were talking about stealing bikes or the ease in which it could possibly be done.

Welp, a comment on Instagram hints that the trail crew knows who was driving that truck

Has anyone rented a bike for the day?

Im reluctant to spend the $139 for the full day and I dont need the protective gear as I have my own. It does not appear though that you can remove the protective gear from the package to save money ???? :?:

Very common practice. They don't give you a discount in Whistler either. Oh well...

Have you checked Chains Required bike shop down the street? They just got a fleet of new Intense 951 Evo's. They might give discounts for no pads, give them a call.

They built a new set of tables on West Ridge this weekend. Watch your speed coming into them because they are tall, short in length, and a bit awkward (kind of like my sex life)

Hope SS learns to use trail has changed signs soon. It seems like every couple weeks a feature has been changed or added. Not to mention the use of flags to mark jumps.

Is there a way to give them that kind of feedback? Have they been receptive to comments and recommendations from folks?

I like the fact that every time I go there, there is something new. The 3 tables are cool, something that can be easily cleared and 3 times in a row. I'm guessing but they may be a bit smaller than the others because it looks like the green trail might share Westridge right at these tables. The pro's will just clear all 3 in one shot anyway lol. There is a post board on the bottom and on top of the mountain stating new features.

Chains Required was actually more expensive which really is surprising they are basically the same price but it doesnt include a lift ticket.
