See I think in some ways if they only sell 50 passes for a day could be a REALLY bad thing. I know if I went there with my family and was turned away I wouldnt be back EVER again. We all know it can happen in the Winter but even then its very unlikely. I would think they would make more money off the random people show up weekends vs someone who goes 20-30 times making the pass only cost around 10 a day.

 

Just bought my pass I'll be there Sunday can't wait

 

I was there Friday. Westridge was closed. So was Turtle Trail. Gravity Logic was there working.

Was up there today. Killet time. Only bummer was hearing someone got their bike taken while they were eating. Hopefully it was a mistake or mix up but as we were leaving saw sheriffs talking to him, im assuming filing a report. Bummer for the guy

 

If you go under the bridge and stay right (there are three rollers about 100 feet later) you'll still be on Party Wave. I haven't seen the step up but I assume it's in the same spot as last year.

that was there last year just rebuilt. Doesn't looks as forgiving as before either.

This year it shoots you about twice as high as it did last year and there is no small side. Come into it as fast as possible. I'm pretty sure your not gonna over clear it.

 

I will be there on Sunday too. Was there on Friday and it was empty, also got my season pass too.

Rowdy music - slow riding - lots of traffic. Some of the new jumps on Westridge look fun, particularly the two smaller tables in a row heading into a left hand turn. I love smallish jumps (10-15 ft. tables), not a big fan of 30 ft. tables (or semi-doubles) eight feet in the air, but that's well documented. Thanks for posting.

Top restaurant or bottom? I am assuming bottom, where it is much easier to roll up, grab a bike and go. Stealing skis and snowboards is common, so I imagine the temptation of hundreds of $5000 bikes laying around barely being watched will lead to more and more of this. Roll up in a van dressed in MtB gear, get out, grab a bike (oooh this one has gold stanchions!), load it up. Rinse, repeat. Solution? Bring a cable lock, and lock it to a rack. You can leave the lock there while you ride.

 

Surprisingly, it was the restaurant at the top. I was picking up my food when I heard him tell the employees his bike was stolen. Here is his post about it on CL.

Fun times at SS yesterday, though not without sketchy moments. In one of the runs, this Bronco was hanging out at the end of a fast straightaway along Cruiser. WTF?!?!
