Do you know if the Modification was done in the Afternoon. I passed right by it on Sunday, did not see the Mod's. However, the jump did appear having a Longer Gap. That could of been due Adverse weather condition ?

Finished STT Luge loop. EXCELLENT conditions. Biggest mud puddle must be 6x12 inches round. So watch out, could be a doucy :)

    Just rode Whiting-Old Camp-Luge yesterday.

Whiting is in good shape - not too much sand in the wash, and the trails I rode (forget the names) were fine.
STT seems to be getting dryer/looser by the day, but still enjoyable.
    Luge still looks great.

I was on the road this morning, entrance to STT under construction. I asked why, workers said the old gate did not open.. Use caution upon entrance !

^^ They're right about that. I used to have to put a jack under it to lift it enough to slide the bolt. Hope it's just for SCE access and we don't have any "surprises" in store.

I hope it went well with other riders and no one was being a jack a$$ to the workers.. When i passed by, there were no room to enter. Yet i see 3 or 4 riders about 20 yards in, wondering how they got in. From what i remember, work truck was blocking the trail pass the open area and the initial work site was blocking the main entrance..

I'd hope they'd let riders through, but if not there's another entrance about 20 feet to the left of the gate.

According to the workers, the gate was progressively sagging more and more every year.

They pulled the gate, added a few plates in the ground and placed it back. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.

    Carry on.....

Haven't heard any updates on that, but I just checked the gate and the latch is definitely high now. I'm guessing they did it for power line and fire access, but who knows? Odd thing is it looks like they grinded off the pull handle from the underside of the latch bar, so it'll be a bit of a hassle to open.

Tree down at the very bottom of Luge, pass the last SS's, last left hand turn right before the first climb out....

Tree right on the trail long ways..
