    I've been there for a couple of small fixes in the past few weeks. Service was fast, friendly and affordable.

    The Cyclery - La Mirada +AA

    This is a good bike shop to go to. friendly service, knowledgeable staff, owner is nice, shop is clean, what else can you ask for? bike shop sometimes is a very intimidating place to go specially if you are new the sports but you can always count on to these guys to help you.:clap:

    Only local shop that sells something more burly than a xc tube.

    Most carry DH tubes which are thicker. a 2.2 universal will work fine for anything. If you are so worried about pinch flatting maybe its time to step it up to some big boy DH casing tires?

    Thats not true. 2.2 specific will make you flat out quite often. Unless you ride slow and simple trails. I run DH tires when I hit the bike parks. Around so cal I use more of an AM tire. Lighter but still burly enough to prevent pinch flats. I run 2.2-2.5 tubes and I find that extra thickness makes all the difference.
